A note from the instructor
- I recommend the Drake or Barton Chip Carving Knife as it holds an edge for a considerable amount of time. They run $28.50 to $32.50 A very good investment for future carvers as well. Or your favorite Chip Knife
- The Ceramic Stones can be purchased for about $60 a set. Again a wise investment.
- A very inexpensive T-Square will do the job which can be purchased at any craft store.
- Any Mechanical Pencil will also do the job.
- Easy to come by graphite paper in any craft store
- Basswood Practice Board
- Compass Can Be purchased at any craft store as well for approximately $8-12
- A white eraser will not leave smudge marks on your project.
